Last week I posted a clip promoting the Musée des Arts Décoratifs exhibition The Art of the Automobile: Masterpieces from the Ralph Lauren Collection. This past Wednesday, Madame Hélène David-Weill and Ralph Lauren hosted a private dinner in Paris to celebrate the opening of this exhibit. While the pics are primarily posed, which makes them much less interesting than if they were taken naturally, it's still worth a quick look (if only to see Jean Reno, who was in attendance). File this one under "Shit Worth Checking Out" and "Shit You Should Be Aspiring To". Donald Glover, a.k.a. Childish Gambino, somehow manages to be one of the most hyped and, simultaneously, one of the most slept-on artists today. He's also one of the hardest working. And did I mention he parties like an animal, drinks unhealthy quantities of whiskey, and doesn't shy away from objectifying women? Ya, this post is long overdue.
February is Parkinson's Awareness Month, and last night at the Ralph Lauren Men's store on Madison Avenue, Michael J. Fox hosted a celebrity charity event to benefit The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. On sale at the event were these limited edition dog tags, which are now available on the Ralph Lauren website for just $95.00. I'm breaking my 'No Polo' rule for this, but 100% of the net proceeds will go to the MJFF, so I don't feel too badly about it.
